Preloader is not working properly. Your goal in this game is to follow along with the story, and you will eventually be given a choice which will decide what will happen. When you complete the game, you will unlock artwork in the gallery. A counter in the bottom right corner will tell you how much of the game you have completed so far. Have fun!
